Werner Heer is a qualified engineer and has 20 years of professional experience as a CEO and Managing Director in the areas of mechanical/ plant engineering, handling/storage technology and solar protection systems.

Before joining the Board of Fuhrländer AG, Werner Heer was
CEO of the industrial sewing machine manufacturer Dürkopp-Adler with 1200 employees worldwide. He has extensive international experience: establishment of three joint ventures in China, four years in Saudi-Arabia and two years in Switzerland.

Up until 2007, Werner Heer was a member of the German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations which represents the interests of the German economy in Eastern Europe.
