Joachim Fuhrländer, Chief Executive board

After Joachim Fuhrländer took over the metal-construction company from his father, he became fascinated in the middle of the 1980's with the small wind power plants then arising in northern Germany.
He put his faith in wind energy and the first 30 kW system was sold as early as 1991. He continued to expand the company with persistence and in the teeth of a lot of resistance and difficult political conditions, and the conversion to an Aktiengesellschaft was implemented in 2001.
Also in his role as a chief executive officer for a globally active company, he has remained true to his ideals as a committed Christian: Teamwork, awareness and esteem are associated with the company culture. Joachim Fuhrländer has 3 children of ages 29, 20 and 15 years.
